When the time comes, we will ensure that everything is taken care of according to your wishes, whether for yourself or a loved one. Our team will provide safe transport from the place of rest to our private, secure facilities, where the utmost care and respect will be shown. Any personal belongings will be documented and returned to the next of kin or representative.
Our service includes transport to our secure facilities and onward to Douglas Borough Crematorium. The eco-friendly, premium cardboard coffin is included as part of our service, with the option to choose a traditional coffin at an additional cost. We will also take care of all necessary paperwork.
The cremated remains will be returned within 14 days. If preferred, we can arrange for the cremated remains to be scattered in a garden of remembrance or another local, authorised location at no additional cost. We can also hold the cremated remains for up to six months free of charge. After six months, fees may apply for longer storage.
What’s not included: Our service does not include re-dressing, embalming, a viewing, or a funeral ceremony. There is no officiant, mourners at the crematorium, or flowers. We also do not provide a chapel of rest, hearse, or limousine. Medical certificates, if required, are typically £82.00 per doctor.
We also offer a range of optional services, such as organising a celebration of life, arranging for an officiant, live streaming, ashes caskets, memorial stones, and international repatriation. Please let us know if you would like more details.
Introducing Attended Direct Cremation
We are pleased to offer the Attended Direct Cremation option, allowing you and your loved ones the opportunity to be present in a quiet, private setting to say a final goodbye. This service is similar to a traditional direct cremation but provides the flexibility to be present in the chapel for a short time before the cremation takes place.
Your choices, your way. You decide what’s important – nothing more, nothing less. A private, peaceful farewell in a dignified setting. Typically at least 50% less than a traditional funeral. Flexible pricing based on what you choose – no paying for things you don’t want or need. Optional free online obituary with photographs, if wished.
